We are EPA Lead Certified and fully insured with both general liability insurance and workers comp insurance for our small specialized crew. If you have an old historic home in Bangor or beyond you don’t have to worry we have you covered.
High quality paint
Have you ever heard of Farrow & Ball paints? How about Fine paints of Europe? We don’t typically use these luxury brand paints but we do consistently work with Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore paints almost exclusively unless requested by the client to use a different product. We don’t like to go to the big box stores that don’t specialize in painting products to purchase the paint and materials we use on your house or job site. We do quality work because we insist on using only high quality products on all of our jobs.
Free paint color consultation
We offer free paint color consultations to the clients we work with providing them some popular options we’ve seen other homeowners use in their homes that we liked and they were happy with or by helping them narrow down a group of colors the homeowner may be trying to choose between. We aren’t interior designers but we do know a thing or two about paint and paint colors and what will or won’t look good with your furniture, floor and the lighting of your home. Sometimes it just helps to have a second opinion. We don’t mind being that helping hand and extra set of eyes to help you make the tough decision of choosing one color out of a million that will make your home look more beautiful than ever before

King’s Red Painting, LLC networks and does business with other local experts in the trades that provide services that we don’t have experience in. This allows us to either connect you directly with a qualified professional for a service you may need other than painting or to allow you to utilize a professional carpenter, soft washer etc as part of your overall painting project your hiring us as your painting specialists to do. We believe it’s best to have those that do things well focus on those while we focus on what we do best which is painting while you the homeowner get to benefit from the combined expertise of all contractors involved.
Secure scheduling
Have you ever contacted a contractor and go onto hire them only to wonder when they are going to start? Perhaps they have given you a vague timeframe but couldn’t provide you with a specific date and a time of day say 9am that they would start working at your house on your project. At King’s Red painting, LLC we provide our clients with specific start dates with estimated completion times to go with them. If something comes up that causes us to not start on the planned day we provide them with quick updates to let our clients know whats going on. This rarely happens but when it does it’s usually no later than 2-3 days from the originally intended start date. When you hire us for a project you will know what day and what time we will be on site to start upon booking and receive confirmation a week prior to the scheduled time.
Limited booking
At King’s Red Painting, LLC I as the owner only book as many clients as we can effectively and reliably serve each season whether it is spring and summer or fall and winter. This matters because by having a limited amount of clients we work with we are able to give a lot more attention to their needs rather than having to rush onto the next client and the next project because we are quite literally running out of sunlight. We make up for not doing as much volume of work by working more deeply on the projects we do in order to provide a higher level of satisfaction to our customers when job is complete. Clear communication
From the start of the project to the end of it my aim as the owner of the business is to make sure you as the homeowner and client are heard. From the first moment we meet during the quoting and consulting phase to the last brush stroke I’m listening for your concerns. Some contractors don’t even call back but I like to err on the side of over communicating rather than not communicating at all. We provide regular project updates as the work is being completed through each section of your job as well as direct access to me should you need to speak with me via email or phone as well as my presence on the job site over the majority of the projects timeline. As the owner I believe in leading by example by working with my men and I believe that communication is the key to good working relationships in business and otherwise. Your painting problems matter to us and we hope to get a chance to solve them for you.
Small Crew
My team and I are two full time and two part time workers. The benefit of having a small crew is there is less quality control on my end which translates to a better overall service experience for you as the homeowner. You also don’t have to worry about having a lot of people in or around your home while your project is going on. We are a close knit team and are focused on efficiency rather than the speed that comes from having sheer numbers of bodies on a job site at a given time.

At the end of the day my goal as the owner is to have a long term business relationship with you.
